Las Vegas, NV (USA) – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) organization today announced the launch of UFC® Mobile in the United States and Canada. UFC Mobile users (on wap-enabled phones) can access downloadable UFC Wallpapers, Video and Ringtones and receive updates regarding UFC events and news, as well as ticketing information.
The UFC worked with mobile services agency Saffron Digital to develop the mobile site.
“We went through our archives and selected some of the best fight footage and images in the UFC, and we are making all of it available through UFC Mobile,” said Dana White, UFC President. “For a sports fan, the UFC provides the perfect content for a mobile device.”

In addition to their mobile device, UFC fans can access UFC® Mobile via UFC.com. UFC® Mobile is also available off-portal by going directly to UFC.mobi or by texting 99134.
Saffron Digital is developing further integration of UFC® Fight Club, a new phase that will enable exclusive advance ticket alerts, and create a more enhanced, seamless UFC mobile experience.
UFC Mobile will be launching in the United Kingdom in early January; and will be further distributed in other countries in 2008.
“Our fan base around the world is very interactive on their mobile phones and there is no other Sports brand that crosses language barriers like the UFC,” said White.
